Qantas Airways has recorded the longest flight with 19 hours and 16 minutes flying from New York to Sydney without stopping.

The flight started at 9.27 minutes on Friday evening and arrived in Sydney at 7.33 am Sunday.

The number of passengers on the Boeing 787-9 was reduced to a majority of Qantas crew.

The plane traveled 16,200 kilometers without refueling, an achievement that no aircraft has ever achieved.

The plane was equipped with large experts to monitor the patterns of passenger sleep and consumption of food and drink.

The four pilots were also equipped with EEG monitors and tracking waves.
